Ron was born in Illinois, but has wandered the earth since early childhood. He has spent the latter part of his life in Colorado, USA, painting the beautiful images that come his way. Having tried with sincerity to approach life in a way that was meaningful since the early 1970's, suddenly there was the Dharma and Ringu Tulku Rinpoche, who planted the seed through teachings that just made sense and provided all the favorable conditions to help germinate it. So, as his wise teacher says, "why not"…. it just makes sense to carefully attend to what is happening within and gain some knowledge and compassion to help the seed grow. Ron feels very fortunate to have this opportunity and wishes for immense benefits to be realized. Ron's wife, Luz, is overjoyed (and somewhat overwhelmed) that Ron has this opportunity and hopes this first group of retreatants can gain great insight from this commitment.
