Ven. Christian grew up in Washington State, then moved to Colorado in
the early 90's to pursue (you guessed it) the ski bum lifestyle.
He was first introduced to the Buddhadharma through books and visiting
other centers of different traditions, then was fortunate enough to be
in Carbondale when Genla Chokyi Dhakpa began teaching there. He
received Rabjung ordination from V.V. Ringu Tulku Rinpoche in 2005 and
began traveling through India and Asia for pilgrimage, study, and
retreat in early 2006.
